Join us on this Halloween adventure with the Haunted GHOST Camera that will let you encounter ghosts and mysterious entities! Utilizing USB camera technology and Python OpenCV, we will reveal things that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Come and discover both thrills and laughter together!

Step 1: Designed

This project uses a USB camera in conjunction with OpenCV to detect black objects and overlay ghost images into the frame, while also adding exciting display features. We will demonstrate how it works and the techniques used to develop this project!

Step 2: CODE

This project uses UNIHIKER to create a "Haunted GHOST Camera" for added Halloween thrills. The system employs OpenCV to detect shadowy, dark objects that resemble "ghosts" through object detection techniques. When such a shadow is identified, the system overlays that area with a ghost image from the GHOST.png file, displaying it in real-time on the UNIHIKER screen. This allows users to see a ghostly figure appear on the screen, making Halloween more fun and spooky.
