Introduction: How to Jazz Pirouette
Tired of falling out of turns, heres a detailed step by step on how to do a jazz pirouette.
Supplies
Your body and Socks and the Floor
Step 1: Start Position
Stand with your feet facing forward, with your body positioned upright.
Step 2: Prep Part 1
Then your going to put your feet out under your hips and stand on your tippy toes, whilst your arms are spread to the sides.
Step 3: Prep Part 2
Place your right leg back. Bend your knees and Place arms in L position. The right arm goes forward whilst your left arm goes to the side.
Step 4: Passe "Bringing the Knee"
From your prep your going to shoot the right leg up into a flamingo position and bring your arms into the shape of a circle in front of your tummy.
Step 5: Jazz Turn
After you shoot your leg up your going to rotate around while your on your tippy toe, maintaining the flamingo position with rounded arms.
Step 6: Step Out
When you finished your full 360 turn your going to place your right leg out and back down to finish the sequence.
